Real Time Signal...

As I explain in my previous post, screen issues and battery charger issues are the real problems in my surface. The second one is solved with a 15€ unit buyed in Amazon, but the screen flickering makes the device unusable and it’s in my opinion a Microsoft design or manufacturing issue.

After several weeks waiting to the Microsoft Surface support to contact me, today I tried again to contact to a technician.

I was able to talk with a “human” (not really a technician, but this is a big step).

The answer as expected was:

  • You have to pay 450€ to repair your surface (when really it’s clearly a manufacturing issue or a design issue).
  • He couldn´t confirm me that the unit that Microsoft will send me it a new one.
  • The new unit will have 90 warranty days. So if I get the same problem again i could pay another 450€ to get a new one and be in the loop forever.

So the question here is to take the risk to pay for a unit that can have the same problem and probably a problem that will appear after the 90 days warranty period.

So my suggestion continue to be DON´T BUY A SURFACE PRO DEVICE. The don´t have the quality that the price suggest.
