Real Time Signal...

I do not want to finish this serie of articles without updating the status, some things have changed since my last entry.

Fortunately, in May, Microsoft rethought its disastrous issue handling on this device and decided to replace those that are out of warranty:

So, logically, I followed the indicated procedure. I packed and sent my device, and 7 days after shipment I had another Surface at home. In principle these units are refurbished, but what really mattered to me is:

  1. That the unit was in good condition.
  2. That the screen did not oscillate or dance as soon as the CPU was forced a bit (if I bought an i7 it should be understood that it is to be used, not to open the notepad …)

So far (and as you can see I’ve spent a few months before commenting) the Surface that I have receive has no problems at all, and I’m still doing video editing and video conversion (something that previously always took me to screen flickering).

In this case I’ll say late, because it should happen a lot sooner, but good job Microsoft !!!!!
