Mission

My work as manager doesn’t allow me to program nearly never. So I will make a personal project this august in my holidays to use some of the new technologies that I would like to begin to work with them the company.

So I set my mission very clear:

To clone Amazon Go as well as I can in free hours during my holidays.

To complicate a little the mission I will make that on C# (I suspect that should be easier to use python to all AI code because I have some experience with Keras, but I want to do it all in .NET so…) I will try to do it.

Architecture

I will try to do it with a very simple devices, this is just a logical clone. Of course there is a lot of work to choose the right devices, but I this initial phase I will work only in the logical part of the store.

Initially I will use phones (iphone and android devices), On a camera linked to my computer.

In a second phase (if the logical phase is successful) I will think on the hardware architecture to improve the prototype.

So basically in this moment I will work on face tracking, pick and put detection as well as object detection.
